How to link all the sites of my multisite inside one frontend homepage menu
-
Hi. I am new to WordPress and I have done a lot of research but I can’t seem to find this anywhere. I created a multisite to address my needs, but now have to link all the individual sites, inside one.
I need my website visitors to access all sub-sites from the main menu of the main site homepage. For all sites to be seen from the frontend of one main site, kinda like the way New York Times website has smaller sites on Science, Health, Tech, Politics under one site, viewed as their homepage.
I needed to create a multisite on topics that relate to one another, such that I could have each topic on its separate blog/site. I don’t want to use categories to divide the single blog post that comes with WP, but to have multiple blogs addressing a topic in a thorough and structured way, hence my choice for multisite.
Example, I need a website on Sports. I’d need smaller sites addressing individual sports very intensively. The smaller sites would be Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Rugby. All the sport sites would need to be accessed from one main homepage that is called Sports. Each subsite would have more categories like Training, Teams, News, Events, but that’s doable.
I need to link all the child sites that address specific issues(on basketball, on rugby, etc.), inside one parent site – sports. I know of plugins that can help copy content to all sites in a multisite to simplify the process, but I couldn’t care less if I had to set one website after the other, as long as they’d all be viewable inside one main site.
I need all my subsites to be viewed from the menu of my main site homepage.
How can I achieve this? Please help.
