How to link homepage potse/static page to the blog?

I am having some difficulty linking the homepage post to the blog as well my visitors not seeing the content for the comments made under our post. When my visitors read the post/comments and are asked to read more they are getting an error page. This is preventing my visitors to get the full content of my post that are related to our non-profit organization. As well as driving them away from our site. Please us fix this problem.
