How to make a beautiful looking blog layouts

  • Good afternoon!

    i use the free wordpress version. oceanwp is my theme. i use elementor to create my website pages. i am trying to make my Blog page attractive. i have not been able to place a picture header, like i did in all the other pages!? i don’t know why!?
    With Oceanwp and elementor how can i create a beautiful looking blog layouts? is there a tutorial for that? will you please help me?

    Hello, you just want to add an image in the page header of your blog page or to customize your entire blog page? It is the second, you will need Elementor Pro.

    To have a header in the blog page please folow these steps:

    I know ( from our previous communication on Elementor forum ) that you have the transparent header set as default in Customizer.

    1. go to blog page and choose in OceanWP settings for example the minimal header
    2. go to customizer and change transparent header to for example minimal header
    3. while in customizer, click in the preview on the right on blogpage so you can see the changes happening there.
    4. style the minimal header to your liking and save

    Now on the right site you will see the header on your blog page.
    Make sure to save the minimal header
    Now set the default back to “transparent” and save

    Your blog page will now have the header you choose and the rest will have the transparent again.
