I am using the master slider plug in to make my image slider. I’ve posted the shortcode on a new page and called that home. I just want to use this slider on the home page without having a page title at the top and still have all my posts show at the bottom.

  • How do i make my images themselves appear on homepage?
The posts appear as icons with no images- then you click on them to go to the post, but the homepage is just a collection of icons and no images.
thank you if you can provide a prompt response… ??

Thats easy. Click on posts in your WordPress menu. select the post to edit it. What you need to change is featured image. If featured image doesnt already show up on the bottom right of that page, then enable it by clicking on screen options (top right) next to help and check featured image. Once you’ve done this, all thats left is to browse to the image you want via featured image. Thats all really.

Hi arque1986 – I’m not familiar with that plugin, but you could find out from the plugin developer if they offer a piece of PHP or a shortcode that you could use in a child theme.

With a child theme, you could then insert the plugin’s code in a copy of index.php.

Pictorico does already come with a slider, in case you weren’t aware. It requires the Jetpack plugin to work, and you’ll find setup instructions in the readme.txt file.

Thanks Kathryn. I managed to figure it out yesterday. Just need to replace the title and description with my image logo. Reading up on that. Hopefully it works out.
