• Hey guys,
my site needs contributors, but i dont like the fact that they will be using the dashboard, so i was wondering if some kind person could strip the posting script and the profile page from the dashboard so it runs standalone and without the dashboard header. I know this might seem odd but it would make my site run a lot smoother especially since there is a lot of young people on it.

i would like to be able to put the scripts in the main wordpress directory so something like domaind.com/wordpress/post.php

Please i hope somebody can help me, i saw some plugins but they were old and not upgraded or just not what im after. If anyone could help me i would be eternally greatful.

  • I can’t help but wonder why the dashboard isn’t safe for young people..
Anyway, one solution is to just remove the dashboard altogether?

And moving scripts around. Why? They all rely on being where they are so moving things around will break the install or involve an amazing amount of work to make it not break. And for no gain at all. Why do this?

Who said anything about the dashboard not being safe for young people? I was merely meaning it would be easier to navigate and better for intergration into the wordpress template.

And in regards to moving scripts around, im not meaning moving scripts around im meaning an additional script of each page thats removed the dashboard theme and the admin_auth check and stuff. the wp-admin folder would remain where it is and exactly how it is on install, i just would like to have the addons so to speak for better site intergration.

From what i gather, this shouldnt break the install at all? and to me i find it would be a great gain, broaden your mind a bit, i mentioned it might seem a bit odd in the first post lol.

when i mention each page there, i dont mean on every word press page, im just meaning each of the post and edit profile pages.
