How to make a post display “<?”?

Hi,

I wanted to write post with a sentence containing the character sequence “<?” . It will not be displayed. Even text following it will also not be displayed. In fact the moment I click the “save and continue editing” button, “<?” will be gone. I needed to seperate “<” and “?” like this
“< ?” in order to show them.

I think it might be due to <? being very similiar to php code block and somehow wordpress tried to do something abot and mess up the text.

I tried going enter HTML codes like <? but still will not work. Because WordPress is so smart and translate < to < and it became <?. Back to square one….

Is possible to write a post with a sequence of characters like “<?” at all?

I hope there is a way to do it.
