How to make a single image gallery with custom order of the images?

  • I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to set the images in a custom order on one single gallery page?

    Basically want I want one my site are two gallery pages:
    1. Where pictures are ordered after the date they were added.
    2. Where pictures are ordered after the age of the subject they contain – like for instance a picture of a 1910 house will be located before one of a 1940 one.

    I can not figure out how to make that last type of gallery. Is it possible with this theme? I would appreciate any help.
