How to make a widget not-show in POSTS

Do you mean to hide the sidebar (widgets) when looking at a single post?

If that is the case you will need to edit single.php in your theme.

no no, I only want some of the widgets that appear in the front page, or the section page, to not show when reading a single-post.

If you edit the single.php file in your theme and remove the function called (i think) get_sidebar() then the sidebar won’t show, i.e. the widgets won’t show.

But I don’t want to hide all the widgets (the sidebar). I only want to hide some of them, when someone is reading a post.

I see, I am sorry to say I don’t know how to do that although perhaps a plugin might do something like that for you but I don’t know which.

If u want to use the plugin and hide certain widgets on single posts u need this command: !is_single()

Then the widgets won’t show up on single posts.
