How to make blogs visible ? (Using Static page for home)

  • Hello, Please help….., would appreciate any help , advice to fix my problem.

    How do i make my blogs visible?
    And get Rid of the “HELLO WORLD” – SAMPLE POST

    What i have already done is:-
    I set up a static page for my wordpress,
    Admin Area/Settings/Reading
    1) Choose A Static page = I Ticked
    2) set Home as my Front page = Ticked
    3)… and Blog as my Posts page = Ticked
    And i Saved all of the above.

    Now i go to write a post / Blog:-
    Posts, Add New,
    i name it something and write a little information
    then i go to post it and it doesn’t go to the blogs page, it gets lost???

    “HELLO WORLD” is a sample blog post that comes with the WordPress install. You can delete that under POSTS in your admin area.

    The Hello world is still there on my blogs page and i cannot get rid of it or find where it is, as it is not at the above location ?????

  • It looks like you have two WordPress installs – one for your website – looks like running a WooCommerce theme – and a separate install running twenty fourteen theme under the /blog/ directory.

    If you write a post while you’re logged into the WooCommerce site then it won’t show up in the /blog/ site due to the way this has been set up.

    Try logging into the /blog site and making changes there.
