    Hello,

I just tried a product carousel with your plugin. However, it does not scroll automatically. Is there to way to make this work? Please advise.

    Kind regards

  • I don’t think it was ever designed to do that. It’s always been (and I’ve been using this plugin for almost a year now) intended to display an array of max. 10 products to scroll through manually.

The only way of achieving this would be heavy use of JavaScript to emulate the click events on the arrow buttons. But still then, the carousel would stop at the last item in the list. You can’t jump through to the first item from the last one. In that, the name “carousel” is kind of misleading.

    Thank you @superninchen

I agree. A carousel should behave like one! That is what I am after. Or else it’s just a misleading nomenclature.

Will wait for plugin author to respond!

    Dear @backpackingseries,

As @superninchen stated ProductCarousel default template provided by us will not scroll automatically. If you want to do same, you can create your own custom template from default Product Carousel and add JS required for this behavior.

    Thank you for the response.

Is there a plan to include such auto-scroll feature in the stable release?
