How to make Free Shipping Default Selected

    Hi there– I have several shipping options, one of which is this plugin’s free shipping. In default Woocommerce, on this page: WooCommerce > Shipping > Shipping Zones, whatever one that is top and enabled is preselected as default.

    However the shipping methods in this plugin don’t appear in that list. So if an order qualifies for free shipping, the user has to select it from the list. How can I make the free shipping pre-selected on pageload?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately at this moment the plugin does not have a option to have it default selected as Woo will always take the first one in the list.

    The upcoming version the Advanced Shipping plugin has support for setting up rates in the shipping zones, so they can be sorted above other options. If you decide to purchase that plugin I’d be happy to send over the pre-release version.

    The other option is to use the ‘hide other rates when free is available’ option if that is possible for your case.
