How to make group event visible to all group members

    Hello everyone,
    In my site i had linked buddy press and events manager the issue is : I have created a private group with 2 administrator(named admin and volunteer), 1 moderator and 1 member.
    -Any event created by admin is not visible to anyone in group.
    -Event created by volunteer is visible to admin and volunteer but not other members of group.

    I want all group events should be visible to everyone in that group.

    Which version of Events Manager and BuddyPress are you using?

    BuddyPress: Version 2.0.2
    Events Manager: Version 5.5.3.1

    Hi caimin_nwl got that how to do, it was under Settings –> Events Manager –> General –> User Capabilities. A check mark on read_private_events and all was done.

    Now i want anyone can create group but it should be accepted by admin. If accepted then only it is visible to all.
    Don’t know is it possible or not.

    Just to clarify: You want users to be able to create groups but they need to be accepted by Admin before becoming available to users?

    hi,

    if a group is private, then events are private and only members will see them. however, if an event is private but not the group, any user that has the read_private_events capability (by default, all logged in users) will see this event

    I think that’s something you might want to ask in the BuddyPress forums since it’s not specific to Events Manager. I imagine there’s a way for admins to make a private group public, either with custom code or a plugin.

    @caimin_nwl and @angelo thanks for your feedback it helped me a lot.

    I asked in BuddyPress forum also they answered there is not any option of that for now but they gave me link. That will work little bit same as i needed.
