How to make header go on top of home page image

    Hello all,

    I am trying to figure out how to make a second row of headers, but id like this row to have a transparent background and be on top of the home page image.

    so it would like this

    HOME ABOUT US CONTACT (normal black background)

    LOGO PRODUCT SEARCH CART (transparent background) BUT, not white in the background but instead be on top of the home page image.

    How can this be done?
