How to make header menu transparent

  • Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but the theme I am using does not have a support on here.

    I simply would like to make the top header menu that has the logo as well transparent. It is currently white but I want it to be clear.

    Ive looked everywhere within the customize tab, I messed with all the settings in it and nothing is working.

    I also tried a few different css that I found on other forums and threads but none worked.

    So how can I accomplish this?

  • You should ask at the theme’s support forum (and if it’s not here, we don’t support that theme), because menus are different for each theme. And if the menu has a dropdown, it doesn’t work well if that is transparent.

    Your theme has it in Customize. Go to Layout > Header and play around with the settings there.

    Thanks for the reply guys! I found an alternative by choosing a different theme. The theme I was originally was trying to customize had a feature labeled “make header transparents” but it wasn’t working. After finding a new theme it had the same feature BUT it actually worked!!
