How to make homepage be static with your theme?

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks so much for creating the Hellish Simplicity theme.

    I have looked over and over online for how to create a static wordpress homepage. The directions all strangely seem to be outdated.

    I still am not sure if the technique varies depending on the theme. So I am reaching out to you in case you know how to do this.

    My website is https://www.FreeCustomMusic.com

    I currently have a “sticky” post as my homepage. But all of my other posts and pages are visible underneath this sticky post. And I do not like this.

    How may I create a static homepage, using your Hellish Simplicity theme?

    Hi again Ryan,

    I actually figured out that I could make all of my posts into pages. And that way, there are no posts to show on the homepage, except for that one sticky post which is fine.
