How to make local hosting work

I am struggling to get my Google Fonts from my site host. I installed the plugin and uploaded the PRO file, everything seems to work, I can switch “Host Fonts Locally” on but the page is still loading Google fonts from fonts.googleapis.com.

I am a beginner so this is quite challenging as I searched the web and found a lot of how-to’s for hosting locally with editing CSS and uploading fonts manually. I purchased this full hope it does the job, so I really hope anyone can help here.

Using WP 5.3.2 with Genesis 3.3.0, Imagely Reportage is my child theme.
