How To Make Main Product Automatically Add Itself to related product?

  • I have worked before with a platform called open cart, and if i add a related product to a main item, the main item automatically adds itself as a related product to the first related product.

    Example: abc is a related product to xyz , xyz will automatically appear as a related product to abc without manually adding.

    I cannot seem to do this with the woocommerce platform.

  • If both products belong to the same product category they are related. If you have many products in the same product category the chances are you won’t see the product in question because only a few are displayed (according to your settings). You can try a plugin like booster.io which allows related products by tag. This way you can tag only 3 to 4 products to make sure they get displayed.
