Which web hosting you are using? The reasons that cause the slow image loading speed are many. For instance, bad web hosting, too many plugins, and the long distance between readers and your web server.

If you have issues with images, you may want to try out BJ Lazy Load plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bj-lazy-load/

Another solution to speed up your site is to start using a CDN https://www.maxcdn.com/one/
That’s in case there is a considerable distance between your readers and your web server.

If you haven’t already, run your website through Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool. It will tell you exactly what’s wrong with your site. Then you can use W3 Total Cache to fix the issues highlighted by the tool.
