How to make pages without the sidebar?

  • There is a way to make a certain page full width and without the sidebar? i can make a template but then with the updates i would have to be checking if i need to modify the code, i would like to keep my child theme the less intrusive possible.
    Also the css needs to be changed to (#primary to 100% with) and would affect the other primary with sidebar ??

    If you want to maintain updates, I would suggest you just create a child theme and have the full width template in that theme.

    This will mean you do have a child theme just for one page, but it won’t get overwritten.
