How to make the search results that are most recent to appear first?

Hi,
I have started using the plugin yesterday (on a news website). There are plenty of news articles dating back in 2012… When I try to search, the plugin wonderfully finds the relevant results in the article content (this has a priority of 10 while the title matches have 1).
The problem is that the results which appear first are the oldest articles, I have to scroll down (there is an infinite scroll, I have much more than 10 results, if applicable) to reach the newest articles.
Is there a way to make the search results appear the other way around?

I have opened the file you mentioned on Line 91. It says the following:
$bydate = isset( $_GET[‘bydate’] ) ? intval( $_GET[‘bydate’] ) : 0; // Order by date or by score?
Where should I put “$bydate = 1;”? Should it replace the “0” at the end? Or simply the “0” should be replaced by “1”?
