I would like to use Complianz with CAOS.
When I activate both of them, Complianz cookie banner dissappers.

Also when I go to product page, I am seeing in the console this error.

“Uncaught ReferenceError: ga is not defined” at autoptimize_c06440c2562253caf9e54a07357ba3f1.js:2

    How can I fix?

Now I have plugins/complianz-gdpr in exclusion and unticked “also aggregate inline JS”

OK, all works, case closed then ??

OK issue solved. But now I’d like to know how to make CAOS work with Complianz in a GDPR proof way.
    Which should I choose?

    Allow tracking…
    Always (default)
    When cookie is set

? And if it is “when cookie is set”, what is the Cookie name? cookie_notice_accepted ?

    Hi @b1026q9,

This depends on the required settings. Did you configure Google Analytics privacy-friendly? https://complianz.io/how-to-configure-google-analytics-for-gdpr/

    Yes I did that.

    Hi @b1026q9,

You can configure anonymously both in Complianz and CAOS and it will work.

You can do this by saying: Yes, Anonymous – instead of Google Analytics under Cookies -> Statistics.

We are working on some adjustments to better this process. This will be updated asap.

I set at Anonymous but still not working.
In CAOS I have set is as Always (default).

I installed Google Analytics for WordPress by Monster Insights. And connected with CAOS. Now ‘ga’ is not defined doesn’t appear.
But is it still correct to set as Anonymous – instead of Google Analytics under Cookies -> Statistics? Because Complianz plugin detects Monster Insights plugin and says I should choose Google Analytics.

    Hi @b1026q9,

If you use MonsterInsights with CAOS and Complianz, the settings from MonsterInsights will override all other. Complianz won’t add or alter the script of MonsterInsights but will change the settings in MonsterInsights if needed.

I can’t seem to access the URL you provided so I can’t check. Let me know if this helps,

    regards Aert

I disabled the protection of the site.
    Could you check the site?

And I am not sure about your answer.
I have configured Google Analytics privacy-friendly as you mentioned. https://complianz.io/how-to-configure-google-analytics-for-gdpr/

Then I can keep it Anonymous, even though MonsterInsights tell me to set Google Analytics in Complianz?

    Hi @b1026q,

With MonsterInsights activated you shouldn’t have to configure Complianz statistics. Did you receive feedback for this in the MonsterInsights plugin?

    regards Aert

Well, yes, once I activate MonsterInsights, it says I should use GoogleAnalytics in Statistics. As soon as I check that, basically I cannot use the analytics function anymore because nobody activelly ticks the “statictics” cookie in the cookie notice.
If I set as anonymous as you suggested, then Analitcs works. But I assume that’s against GDPR, right?
    I haven’t asked MonsterInsights.
