We have revamped our website and have it running in WordPress. The next phase is to make it internationalized in a few different languages. What’s the best way to do this?

You could use the WPML plugin which is generally well regarded.

It enables you to write versions of the same page in whatever languages you choose, then provides visitors with an option to switch between them by choosing the language.

Not too difficult to use. In my experience, getting good translations written is the challenging part, more so than the WordPress implementation.

Thanks Jason! So how difficult is the tool? I was looking at that one some the other day, including some video footage. How easy is it to setup other languages?

I’ve not used it, but I’ve worked with people who did, and they’re not techie but managed ok.

Awesome. My background is mainly HTML/ASP/.NET so this is a little new to me (other parts of WP are no problem).

    Closing this out.
