How to manage drafts?

    Hello support,
    we have a review process for our site, where only admin and editor can publish content. The authors are working in teams to review the text. For changes after publishing we use the PublishPress Revisions plugin. That’s why unpublished content is mainly in draft state.
    I can’t figure out how to set up the settings for drafts. It seems that my coworkers can only edit them, when I allow them to edit published too. Which can undermine our review process.

    Can you please help me?

    Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities.

    Giving them the access to “edit_post” should also give them the access to post in draft status. Can you please confirm if your role still cannot see the post in draft status even if you have assign them edit_post capability?

    Hello rizaardiyanto,
    our authors are enabled to edit_post, create_posts, edit_others_post and edit_private_posts. Same for pages. On additional capabilities they can copy_others_pages, copy_others_posts, copy_pages, copy_posts, copy_ published_pages and copy_published_posts.

    We use Version 2.13.0 of PublishPress Capabilities.

    @lisabr Do you have PublishPress Permissions installed?

    @rizaardiyanto Yes, but currently it’s not activated.

    @lisabr I have a feeling there is plugin conflict here. Can you please try temporarily deactivate all plugins except PublishPress Capabilities and see if the issue persists?

    @rizaardiyanto You are right. I deactivated all other plugins and reactivated them slowly.
    The problem occures with the PublishPress Revisions plugins. And I found the wrong check mark.

    I checked “Prevent Revisors from editing other user’s drafts”. After deactivating it, everything works as intended.
