I don’t believe this plug-in removed all its files and data when I deleted it from the WordPress panel. What was left behind seems to be causing conflicts with another brute force plug-in. And odd behavior (ie failed login attempt counters and lockouts) even if not brute force plug-in is installed. Could someone provide instructions on how to manually uninstall all this plug-in’s files and data? Has this plug-in made changes to WordPress files?

    Hi,

The Limit Attempts plugin from BestWebSoft does not leave any data after uninstallation. Deactivate all of your plugins except the plugin you want to use for site protection, and also check if the problem is still present. If it is not, activate the plugins one by one, meanwhile checking, after which plugin activation the problem appears again.
