Hi all my first post.hopefully put in the right place
so i have hundreds of products with various attributes but my problem is i am having difficulty using product filters on the front end. for example, i have an attribute name for “Flavour” which holds hundreds of terms but then there is another attribute named “Flavor” and another “Flavours” all spelled differently. i want to merge them all under 1 attribute name without having to go through each product individually. i have hunted the web high and low but have come up with nothing so far. any help would be greatly appreciated i will take the time if needed but hoping for a solution.
    many thanks

    Hey there,

There isn’t a way to merge the different attributes, unless you want to work at database level – I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re very sure of yourself.

I’d recommend clearing the attributes that you aren’t happy with, recreating them, then adding the correct attributes to each product via CSV. You can export all products via Products > Export, which is a lot faster to update than manually editing each product.

If you’d like more information on the export/import function, here’s a good resource:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

I have this same exact problem with 10,000+ skus….doing this at the csv level isn’t optimal either when your suppliers have 60+ csv files which are broken down into multiple folders within folders in a Dropbox. There needs to be a way to manage this with merging.
