How to merge .com into .org but attach new template?

  • Dear fellow WordPress users,

    I’d really appriciate any help with this one.

    I was using www.ads-software.com but lost the use of the domain name. I now have access to the back end of the blog via the host giving it a temporary url address.

    In the meantime, I had set up a free wordpress.com blog with one of the free templates, which I love the look of.

    Is there a way I can import my posts from the free wordpress.com into my www.ads-software.com (which has more capabilities with regards to the plugins etc) but keep the template of my free wordpress.com blog?

    Basically, I love what I’ve created with my free blog and want to merge that with the more extensive back end of my old blog.
