How to merge or join two different database name and table prefix

  • Greetings to you, I moved my site to a new server and started a new content postings, but right now I lack old posts from my old site domain, and that site does not exist but i have the database and all the media uploads, so I am asking how I can join or merge database cpuser_db1 as the database name and wp1_posts as the table name from the new site.

    While database cpuser_db2 as the database name, while wp2_posts as the table name for database from the old site.

    Now these two database have a different content which I want to merge the two database tables as one to produce one content.

    I think the easiest thing is to recreate the old site someplace, maybe in a sub-domain of your current hosting. Once you have that, use tools->export to export all content from that site. Login to the main site and use tools->import to import the content and media from the sub-domain site. Once done, you can remove the sub-domain site as it’s no longer needed.

    Merging the two database is way tricky.
