How to merge row1 and column1?

    Hello,

    I have tried all the way, like CSS, merge columns and row options and all but not merge.
    I want to merge row 1 and column 1, which is a title. Could you please guide me how can I do that?

    whenever I try to merge by clicking on the colspan and rowspan option they always showing me an error like “You can not add rowspan to the first row!”

    Till now I haven’t published the post.
    Please help me how can I do that?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You need to put the #rowspan# keyword in the second row for this.

    However, note that combined cells will still have to be rectangular, i.e. merging row 1 and column 1 sounds weird.
