How to migrate and upgrade WordPress version in my site

    Hello

    The current version of the wordpress in my site is WordPress 4.8.2
    I am planning to migrate my actual WordPress in the latest version (5.3) on another server.

    My actuall steps:

    1. Install new WordPress (5.3) on another server
    2. Export all db from actual wp (4.8.2). About 3GB (mysqldump…)

    Anybody know any manual or explain best practices to do it?

    1. Export the site with the plugin
    2. Import the site onto the new WordPress
    3. Job done
