How to migrate PikList meta boxes to Gutenberg editor to delete the plugin?

I’ve been using PikList for a long time to create meta boxes in the post editor (legacy) interface to add some other functionality including a box with radio boxes to select the post layout for each post and another two text boxes for add some additional pieces of information into the post.
Since PikList is no longer being developed, I want to know what would be the approach to get rid of the plugin and import (transform) the meta boxes into something compatible with the new editor in WordPress.
What’s it that I need to do to bring the custom functionalities to the new editor?
