How to Migrate Site Files to another domain

  • My main domain name is finedeal4all.com and I want to rebuild an Affiliate Page on it once I have an understanding of how to clear this up.
    It’s me that is the biggest problem here due to my lack of understanding of how these things work.

    I have a side interest to support a not-for-profit so I started building a site in the finedeal4all.com account. I got to a point and realised I don’t know how to move the site and where to move it.

    I watched a YouTube or two and started but got out of my depth as I’m suffering from shingles in the side of my head. Big pain!

    I created a subdomain > transportedge.finedeal4all.com and have some files for the site page. Now I need some expert help to guide me through this nightmare. This is probably making a lot of people laugh HAHAHA.

    I’ve posted help messages on a platform only to get responses from site building jockeys with Wix experience. I’m offering a few dollars for the problem solve but I’m not finding those with the skill or the inclination to help.

    Any helpers out there?

    I would request to use WPClone plugin to move your site to subdomain easily.

    Step-1: Install WPclone plugin to your main domain finedeal4all.com. Create a backup. After creating the backup you will get a url to copy.

    Step-2: Install the same WPclone plugin to your subdomain transportedge.finedeal4all.com. From the WPClone plugin restore the site by the url copied in step-1. Hope it solve your issue.

    Dear Arif,

    Thanks so much for the perfect directions to do the site file migration.
    Perhaps I should have taken a step further back to deal with the first problem…
    I have the two domains. I have a hosting account for them and I have WP installed. To get to the migration steps, I need to learn how to setup my files in connection with WP. I see both site files in CPanel but how to I get them to appear in WP and how do I toggle between the sites?
    Currently, I’m looking for guidance from a Fiverr freelancer if I can find one.
