I want to edit the Meta info that is at bottom of page on left. I just want all of that to show. Most of my readers will be very confused by it all. I want the presentation to be as simple as possible. In fact, I would just as soon do away with the “Meta:” entry.

    Thanks so much!!

  • Edit the sidebar.php in your theme’s folder and remove whatever you don’t need.

Just checked, there is no sidebar.php in theme folder. Would it be somewhere else?

The only theme currently in your theme folder appears to be 2Exquisite. Your blog is showing a sidebar, so unless you modified the theme in some manner, the file “sidebar” should be there. You are probably looking for the information that lies between lines 52 and 63 in the file “sidebar” for that particular theme.

    Thanks Clayton,
I realize the site shows a sidebar, but the folder is not there. Strange I know. I have gone to the server directory and looked around thoroughly in that theme directory. And I don’t even think the sidebar option was turned on but can’t be sure of that. It is beyond me.

If there is something else I can look for I will be happy to report back. Thanks again.

Clayton, can you tell me how to expand the view so that comments show up without having to click on them. I have searched the control panel – every option and feature and cannot figure how to do that.

    Thanks very much!!!

Under Presentation, Widgets, I see this:

    No Sidebars Defined

You are seeing this message because the theme you are currently using isn’t widget-aware, meaning that it has no sidebars that you are able to change. For information on making your theme widget-aware, please follow these instructions.

I found it and fixed. It was in main index template (I guess the theme was designed before widgets).

    I removed the meta stuff.

    OK, another bad design theme…
It is in the index.php – the sidebar starts at line #40.
The stuff you want out is in lines #73-83.

EDIT. Posted in thesame time ??
