how to move a domain name from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com

  • i purchased a domain with wordpress.com, not aware of the limited features it has.

    i wish to use a custom domain i bought, which apparently can only be used with www.ads-software.com.

    how do i move the $25 I spend on a Domain from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com so I can then use my custom domain name? thanks

    www.ads-software.com does not have the same hosting abilities as wordpress.com. WordPress.com offers free websites, but contains in contrast, all the documents and information and without the users possibility to change very much.

    To “get into www.ads-software.com” you need to first download wordpress and configure it on a webserver you have bought somewhere. This can either be an entire server, exclusive hosting, or limited hosting. Install wordpress on this host – and follow the install instructions on wordpress.

    From www.ads-software.com it is possible to export all posts, comments, pages etc to your new home.
