How to move image from above post title?

When I first started using this theme, one image from each post was displayed next to the post on the home page. Then, suddenly it changed and the image appeared above the title of each post. I would like to move the picture back next to the post, or remove it altogether from the home page, but have not found a way to do this. You can see what it looks like now at
