• Currently, my pages display on the side under the ‘pages’ category, along with archives, blogroll, etc. How do i disply the pages in a navbar at the top?

  • I am using the same theme, and my problem is it somehow automatically put pages in the nav bar. And they aren’t the pages that I want there, so now I can’t get them out!

    dashboard – appearance – menus
create your own menu with what you want

That is what I have been doing. I just changed themes to see if that would help, and it didn’t. So in my new theme, there were currently no menus at all. Yet in the navigation bar at the top, there still are the pages that I do not want in the menu I have yet to create. That make sense? Thanks!

To the original poster – I found this site that might help you. I am still trying to get it to work on my own page but could also help you.

I created my own menu, but how do I get it to appear as a navbar?

Let me preface this by saying I am sooo new to this and am very much fumbling through it. But I will tell you that I previously tried a few themes, and could not get a nav bar to appear. So I tried a different one – and oila, it magically appeared. I came to the conclusion that it must’ve been my theme. Although I have since discovered that there are plugins to help create nav menus. I can’t promise that this works, but I just did a plugin search for navigation menus, and one came up that might help: EZY Nav menu.
FYI, I switched to twenty eleven theme and the nav menu appeared.
Hope this helps, and hope I am right ??
