• I have a multisite account where I am creating two different websites for work using Evolve child themes. Once I have finished creating them, I need to save them as their own wordpress accounts and I need to move the content from my server to an in-house server. I also need to amend the URL so that the websites replace the old sites. How can I do this?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • I’m not sure what you mean by “accounts”. Are you referring to WordPress.com?

As for moving content from server to server, you can export/import via the Tools menu in wp-admin

When I say accounts, I am referring to www.ads-software.com. At the moment, I log in to my personal WordPress account to create and manage the sites. I want to move it so that the company has its own WordPress login which isn’t linked to my account.

Thanks, I just can’t move it to the server until it has its own WordPress login.

It sounds like you are logging into your sites (built on WordPress that was downloaded from .org). It isn’t possible to log into www.ads-software.com and manage a site. You can log into WordPress.COM and manage a site.

What are the URLs of the sites you log into?
