How to narrow posts list by current post taxonomy

  • I know I can give ID of term and this way narrow down list of posts. But how do this automatically? I mean, I’m viewing some post or custom post type, with custom taxonomy (the same for posts and custom posts) how can I display only this elements of post list, which is marked as related for current post? It is problem opposite to “Exclude self”, I will call it “Only related terms”. I don’t think I can achieve this by selecting plugin options now, but maybe there is any shortcode I can use? Thanks in advance for any tips.

    Yes, you can’t achieve this at present. It would be a good feature i think.

    Not a comprehensive related post algorithm, but i will try to include atleast – “post_type from current page” & “post having terms of current post”. But no guarantee if that can be achieved ??

    Any luck on this feature? It would be incredibly helpful for what I’m trying to do. Having the ability to utilize custom taxonomies from the post in the queries would be extremely helpful!
