    Hi, i just want to know those site pages such as 1,2,3,4,5 which are indexed in google as yoursite.com/page1/ to be removed. So what can i mention in robots.

    It’s not yoursite.com/page1/ but yoursite.com/page/1/

    So the line in robots.txt would be:

    /page/*

    By the way: this has nothing to do with the PageNavi plugin, per se. It’s just the normal WP pagination.

    Thanks for the reply and yeah i posted the wrong page format. plus also knows this has nothing to do with pagenavi but i thought paginavi support forum will recognize my problem easily.

    Thanks again

    Scribu,

    I’m assuming that following your advice you would put:

    Dissallow: /page/*

    and that this in turn would inform the search engines not to index your pagination pages?

    Just want to make sure.

    Thanks,

    Matt

    @webworksmedia: Yes, that’s what I meant.
