• Hi, I am browsing the net in seacrh for the solution for a couple of hours, without any luck. I have the following situation:

I have 10 categories. Each category shows last 5 items – just excerpts. I want to create another listing of the same categories, in the same layout, but with different way of showing the 5 items (just titles in a a-z order in my case). I have the code for the a-z listing, but cannot find a way how to create a file (page, template, whatever) that would contain this other catgory listing type.

So basically I cannot find a way on how to have listing of a specific category in two different ways in the same time. My primary one would be the normal listing, but in the header I would link to the same category listing just showing the A-Z items of the same category.

Please help if you can, I was planning to publish my blog within the next 24 hours. Thanks in advance so much!

I found a way on how to this manually (which is tedious when you have 20+ categories as you will need 20+ templates). templatenumber.php can be created with the code getting the content in way you like it and you need to generate a page using the templatenumber.php as a template. This genrates static pages which canbe manually linked.

This is a good solution but is there an automatic way?
