how to open Adsense display ads in a new window

    Hi Thomas

    We just installed your excellent plugin. How do we get Adsense display ads to open in a new window? We’ve clicked the open ads in new window box in settings, but the ads are still opening in the same tab.

    Hi Adam,

    thanks for your kind words about Advanced Ads.

    The option to open ads in a new window only works for links created by Advanced Ads. This applies to image ads in the basic version.

    When you are using ads that are based on scripts, like AdSense, then the link is included in their code and we can’t change that behavior. It is also against the terms of most ad networks to try anything like that.

    Does that make sense?
