    Hi Team,

I am trying out this plugin. Looks awesome. However I’m not able to get the Lightbox working. I have checked “When enabled some login links will open in a lightbox instead of changing page.” under login, register, forgot password etc. Still, it’s changing pages while clicking the links. Also, while clicking the login in the menu, it opens the page instead of the modal. In the default 2020 theme, the modal is not opening only when clicking the menu. But after going to the login page, if I click the register/forgot password, it’s opening the modal.

But while using Oxygen builder, modal is not working anywhere. I am sure I got it working in the first attempt. But I changed some setting, which made it not to work anymore. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled, but it didn’t help. Still, none of the links are opening in modal. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

    Could you help please?

    Regards,
    Bala

An update. The links are opening in lightbox if I add the UWP->Login widget in my Oxygen Login page template. i.e. the links on the login widget (i.e. Sign Up and Reset Password). But the login link in the menu is still opening the login page (instead of the lightbox). Once I open the login page, if I click sign up, it takes me to signup lightbox, and if I click login link in that lightbox, it takes me to login lightbox. So, the login link in the signup lightbox works perfectly, and it opens the login in the lightbox. Only when I click the links that are not in lightbox, the lightbox is not opening. How can I do that? The same behaviour in 2020 theme too. Please help.

    Hi,

Are you adding menu items to the menu from our UsersWP Endpoints? If you add from there then it will by default work but if you want to keep your menu items then you will need to add class ‘uwp-login-link’ for login and ‘uwp-register-link’ for registration menu items. Let me know if you face any issues after changing to this.

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your quick response. Both of your suggestions worked.

    1. Adding it to the menu using UserWP endpoints
    2. Adding class to the menu (which is helpful for me to add the class to buttons and links on the page, to bring up login and register modals. Thanks for that)

I have another question. The “Login redirect page” setting doesn’t seem to work. No matter which page I set in this setting, it redirects the user to the home page after logging in. Is it a bug? Is there a workaround?

Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hi,

Login redirect should work on the login page only and not popup. For login popup, we just keep the user on the same page instead of redirecting. Let me know are you talking about the login redirect not working in the popup or in the page?

    Hi Patrik,

    Thanks for your prompt response.

I misunderstood that it always redirected to the homepage, but it actually goes back to the page I was in (where I clicked the login link). This is the exact behavior I want.

Question related to documentation for developers:
Where can I find documentation for hooks/filters that I can use to customize? I couldn’t find any documentation on this.

    Regards,
    Bala

    Hi,

We are working on the new documentation for the UsersWP plugin so I would suggest you can find the hooks from code only for now. If you need any particular hook then let me know and I will help you if possible.

    Thanks a lot Patrik.

I’ll get back to you if I need any specific hook.
