how to opt out from freemius?

What’s the problem with freemius? What data is transferred?

You can always opt out by finding Restrict User Access on the Plugins screen, next to the Add-ons and Deactivate links.

Freemius helps to improve the plugin, it is completely optional and does not collect data without consent. For full transparency you can read more here:

I don’t see link for opt in/out from freemius. That’s why I asked the question. On the plugins page under Restrict User Access plugin I only have three links:

Documentation & FAQ | Deactivate | Translate

The third link was added by Loco Translate plugin.

I reached out to the Freemius team about this, and it might be a bug or connectivity issue. I was told that you can contact Freemius directly to resolve this issue by sending an email to: support [at] freemius.com

With 1.3 installed, I see:

The Freemius website (https://freemius.com/wordpress/usage-tracking/1538/restrict-user-access/) says it tracks:

? Your user’s first & last name
? Your user’s email address & IP

Is this only my data as the site admin, or the details of the other users of the site that Restrict User Access controls?

Only the admin, and only when opted in. Freemius nor RUA collect any other data from users or visitors on your site
