How to optimize images and not lose them/break them?

  • Is there a plug-in I could use (and if there is,I’d appreciate the right config settings to be mentioned)to optimize my current and future images? My site loads slow and image optimization is a problem. However, I don’t want to lose or break any images. I can’t seem to find anything anywhere about this that will work.

    What do people who already use this plug-in do?
