How to output repayment date

Thanks for the review. Adding the repayment date would be complicated because there are too many variables. For example, the period slider might be in years but you have monthly repayments. Would you want to show the date of the last payment, the payment date each month, the date when the loan is repaid or something else?

Hello, and thank you for your prompt response (I was hoping I’d get notified of your reply but didn’t).
This is exactly what I need. You’d notice in the URL I attached, mine is a 30day slider, meaning both loam AND repayment would be within a month(well, 30days).
I just want to display the date for repayment. Bear in mind it’s a nano credit platform (very small loans) hence the reason it’s a 30day slider.

I suppose it’s possible to add an end date to the repayment info. The easiest way would be to add the loan term to today’s date. This could be days, weeks, months or years.

After doing some quick tests it turns out this will be a lot more complicated than it first seems.

The problem is the number of days in the month. For example a 30 day loan on 31 Jan would end on 2 March normally but on 3 March in a leap year. You can’t even add a month for the same reasons.

So to add this seemingly simple (and quite useful) feature will probably require 4-5 hours work.

I see what you mean. I just thought seeing that you have previously successfully done something similar, it wouldn’t take much to achieve.
Would this scenario make your job easier?:
A situation where loan amount is fixed (i.e you can only borrow $1000) and the slider is basically to know the date of the day in 30days you’d be required to repay.

The bespoke versions of the plugin had very specific requirements so I was able to add the repayment dates.

To add a shortcode option to the standard plugin that works with days, weeks, months and years for all slider and repayment options is a lot more complicated.

If you are able to contribute to the development costs I’m happy to do the work.

Closing this thread as I’ve not heard from the OP.

Adding a repayment date might happen sometime in the future but it’s not on the immediate list of things to do.
