How to over ride a color for category

    sorry I’m afraid that this is not possible at the moment.

    Make sure the secondary category is named alphabetically after the desired category. It seems that if you have two categories on an entry, the first (by alpha) is used and the second one is unused. We are doing this with some entries

    We don’t control the ordering/priority of categories, we let WP do that and pick the first category from the list belonging to a post/event.

    Not sure if this’ll help but maybe try using hierarchical structures so your teacher categories are under one ‘Teachers’ category. Maybe that’ll make WP return those later in the list.
