How to override a shipping class?

  • Hi all,

    We have a webshop with different products. Some products can be shipped via a mailbox parcel because of the size and the item weighs less than 2 kg and some products have to be shipped as a parcel. Therefore I created 2 shipping classes “mailbox parcel” and “parcel”. The postage for these 2 shipping classes is different.

    The problem I have is that when somebody orders an item in the shipping class “mailbox parcel” and add another item which weighs less than 2 kg but is labelled as “parcel” the customer sees 2 shippings options instead of seeing the postage referring to the shipping class “parcel”.

    The shipping class “parcel” must override the shipping class “mailbox parcel”. I don’t know how to fix this.

    Can any one help me out with this?
