How to override Kingcomposer element

  • Please, i need help overriding (kc_carousel_post.php) kingcomposer element.

    I have read the blog post “How to overwrite an element of KingComposer page builder”, but i am having issues with using the correct folder path.

    I use a child theme and have tried putting the element i want to override in the following folder path:

    child-theme/kingcomposer/shortcodes/kc_carousel_post.php

    child-theme/kingcomposer/kc_carousel_post.php

    None of the methods seems to work.

    Please, kindly assist.

    Thanks for your comment.

    You must define map via add_map function of KingComposer into functions.php file of theme.
