How to paginate numerically archives and Home?

    How to paginate archives and Home? I have around 2k posts, so Prev and Next are in need of a little help for users to get to content quickly.

    I’d like to show the current page with hyperlinks to a few pages before and after the current page, like WP stock theme behavior is (or was… I haven’t used them for years).
