How to post a newly created wp post manually to twitter

Hi, I ‘ve created a little post for testing purposes. The Twitter app is set up. No automatic or planned schedult. My expectation is to find this wordpress post in the dashboard in order to do some finetuning for twitter and publish it from there.

Unfortunately I can’t find it. Am I wrong in my expectations, do I have the wrong settings or am I wrong in my behaving?
