How to “post” a page…

I am very new to blogging, so hopefully this is a super simple question…my blog is https://www.new2knitting.com/beta, I am using a theme called Aria 1.0

All I am trying to do is create my About Me page. Here’s what I have done…

I go to the “write page” tab…I title it and write a quick test blurb, even upload a picture. I save and publish it and then can view it from by clicking on “view page”. It shows up when I go when I go to Page Management as published.

But when I go to my blog site, it doesn’t show up anywhere…I’m not sure where it should show up, but I sure can’t find it anywhere.

I am using a theme. And in the theme are pre-made links (I am guessing that’s what they are called)…About Me, Contact, Page…etc… I want to be able to make an About Me page and obviously have it show up when you click the About Me link-thingy…if it matters when I click on the About Me link in the theme the URL I get is https://www.new2knitting.com/beta/# (and nothing happens), and when I go tp Page Management to look at the page I created it has a URL of https://www.knitting.com/beta/testpage (or whatever I titled the page I made)

I’m so lost…
